Having a drawer is where cheap online gadgets go to die, and never get used ever again.
Mine's got a phone tripod that wobbles, a "portable" blender still sealed in its box, and a pair of earbuds that paired once and never again. Every one of them looked incredible in the photos. Every one of them let me down the second I got my hands on it.
Sound familiar? If you've ever tapped "add to cart" at midnight because a video made something look life-changing, you already know exactly what I mean.
Enough was enough. I got stubborn about it.
So I started buying, testing, and returning gadgets from TEMU on purpose. Not to review them for clicks, but to find out which ones were actually built to be used, not just built to be filmed.
Most went straight back in the drawer, at least in spirit. But five didn't.
Five earned a permanent spot in my house, my bag, or my desk. And I've reached for every single one of them more than once this month.
This isn't some "top rated" list pulled off a spreadsheet.
It's what survived after I threw out everything that only looks good in a 15-second clip.
Here's what actually held up. Keep reading.
